Christina is a dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor Associate under the careful guidance of Jillian Denman, LPC-S. She earned her bachelor’s degrees in psychology and Sociology (Criminal Justice) from Texas Lutheran University, before pursuing her master’s degree in clinical Mental Health Counseling from St. Mary's University. Hailing from Texas, Christina is deeply committed to enhancing the mental well-being of her fellow Texans and the communities she proudly calls home.
With extensive expertise in a diverse range of areas, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, relationship issues for both couples and individuals, neurodivergence, major life transitions, LGBTQ+ matters, family dynamics, grief counseling, anger management techniques, women's issues, multicultural considerations, academic challenges, career changes, and the unique needs of military family members and veterans, Christina brings a comprehensive and empathetic approach to her practice.
Utilizing a blend of Solution-Focused, Person-Centered, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques, Christina is dedicated to fostering a safe and comfortable therapeutic environment, encouraging her clients to express themselves openly and authentically. She firmly believes in tailoring her therapeutic approach to the individual needs of each client, recognizing the uniqueness of every situation.
During her leisure time, Christina immerses herself in the world of literature, enjoys an eclectic range of music, indulges in her passion for crocheting thoughtful items for loved ones, cherishes the company of her pets, and actively engages with her local community through volunteering and supporting various causes close to her heart.
