Habiba Salim

Habiba Salim is a Licensed Professional Counselor- Associate. She received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from The University of Houston and her Master of Education in Guidance and Counseling from Lamar University.

She focuses her care around the needs of the individual with their life changes and challenges. Sometimes we get stuck in a thought or feeling and need that safe place.  She encourages a therapeutic relationship through trust and unconditional-positive regard for her clients. Some of her work has been with anxiety, depression, self- esteem, goal setting, and trauma. She has worked as a school counselor serving students at all levels.

Her purpose is to see her clients on a path to recovery or growth by creating a positive, caring, and encouraging environment.
